Join us for the celebration of Masnytsia at Avalon Cafe with the Ukrainian community kitchen!
The Community Kitchen project was founded by Dnipro Center for Contemporary Culture to bring together Dnipro citizens and internally displaced people. Here in London, the curator of CK project Diana Khalilova invites Londoners and Ukrainian refugees for an evening of collective cooking of Ukrainian dishes and the following dinner party at Avalon Cafe.
We will also have a pop-up corner with Ukrainian herbs, jams, dried mushrooms, candles, ceramics, cards, prints, music and more.
All profit from this event goes to Ukrainian grassroots organizations: Peremoga NGO supporting internally displaced persons in Dnipro, and the team of Lena Samojlenko, who bring humanitarian aid to the most vulnerable people in Kherson region.
The ceramic art piece on the poster was made by Diana Khalilova.
